I was reading the description of the cyberpunk genre on
wikipedia (www.wikipedia.org) and it said that it grew out of
noir and hard boiled fiction. One of the examples given was
William Gibson's Neuromancer. On reflection, though it has
been a long time, I can see the book as noirish.
In any case I wanted to tap the collective on this list and
get authors or titles of other cyberpunk/noir works.
