I don't know about you guys, but I considered myself a fan of
Ross MacDonald, but I had a hard time reading a few of his
novels after reading most of the tohers... I had a tough time
getting through THE UNDERGROUND MAN and SLEEPING BEAUTY... I
prefer his earlier others and having found myself liking the
earlier ones better (even the BARBAROUS COAST)...if you read
one of the later MacDonalds you are pretty much going to get
the idea of what he is all about...
