I agree that Gotham Central (alternating arcs with Greg
Rucka) is some of his best work that I've seen.
If you don't mind superheroes in your hardboiled, though,
he's also done a very nice turn recently on DAREDEVIL --
which is decidedly crime fiction more than it is
supers.
