Yes, there are three novelizations. I know I read Nothing But a Man, but I have no recollection of it. The Thompson novel I really disliked was The Golden Gizmo with the talking dog.
I think the best Thompson books were the semi-autobiographical ones, Bad Boy and Roughneck.
