Is the movie any good? I recall liking the novel, though it has been quite a
while.
Swedish TV ran a Wim Wenders retrospective a while ago - PARIS, TEXAS and
THE AMERICAN FRIEND and a bunch of others, but not HAMMETT unfortunately.
