That's funny. Almost ironic. What you say about the Coen brothers -- and, again, I'm not a big fan -- is exactly how I feel about Allen. The other aspect of this whole discussion is Who cares about whether someone is an American director or not. This week I've seen films from Brazil, Spain, France, Australia. There is so much more film to be seen thanks to DVDs and to narrow my viewing habits over some jingoistic aspect is absurd. Those days are long gone.
