and traded a few emails with you. The Maltese Falcon is one
of my favorite hardboiled novels. I'm thinking about
re-reading it myself. When you mention Cain, are you talking
about James of The Postman Always Rings Twice? I've read a
couple others of Cain's besides The Postman and neither came
close to it. The Postman comes close to Hemingway in quality
in my opinion, and I'm big on Hemingway.
You published a novel here recently, didn't you? Tell us
about that.
