Mike,
I've not read the title you mention. I did read an
anthologized story by her not too long ago which I thought
had a satisfying sense of atmosphere and suspense. (Now, if I
could only remember its title and the anthology. Big help, I
am.) The setting was in the city park beneath the Golden Gate
Bridge in San Francisco.
