Yup, it is. After a couple of relatively laid back rock
albums (one made with Garland Jeffreys, one with Little Feat)
and a couple of
"serious" albums (one with Terry Riley), Cale returned to
harsh rock on a trio of of great records on the Island label
-- Fear, Slow Dazzle and Helen of Troy. They were only
briefly released in the US, the third not at all; a later
compilation, Guts, drew from all three. More recently, the
2CD Island Years compiled all of the tracks from all three
albums, plus the non-requisite outtakes, live tracks,
etc.
