DEATH, and EVERYBODY HAD A GUN. CASE OF THE VANISHING BEAUTY,
the first Shell Scott, was okay but not as good as the
others. Those are all straight-forward hard-boiled PI
stories. I haven't read any of the funnier Shell Scott books,
so I can't comment on them, but if you get your hands on any
of the books mentioned above you are in for a treat. "Crooks"
is my favorite. --Brian
