i'm not familiar with prather, so i checked him out on amazon.com. i haven't gone wrong so far on your recommendations in authors, so i trust that prather is a good author.

but those E-read book covers for a lot of his in-print shell scott novels, like slab happy, the cockeyed corpse, and dagger of flesh are horrible.
