Add King of the Road by Paul Hemphill to the list of trucking
novels. It's the story of a hard-drinking 70-year-old trucker
who takes his son with him on his last run from Alabama to
Nevada. Harry Crews gives it a blurb on the dust jacket,
which should be recommendation enough for members of this
list.
