hi everybody,
just finished tj parker's _laguna heat_. any you people read
him? pretty good book i thought. interesting character
development. interesting plot. as i read it i wondered if
maybe it wasn't hardboiled. i kept thinking of that "tough
and colloquial" definition. hahaha. the protagonist, tom
shepard, is one of those less tough guys (almost an
anti-hero, like dustin hoffman in "the graduate") like martin
cruz smith's arkady. but in the end, _laguna heat_ gets the
hb tag from me.
