I'm one of the Am Tab supporters. Loved it. But then, I
didn't think it was as good as White JAzz, the "fever dream"
novel. The 1st person worked for that type of prose, and Am
Tab is well done too. Lately, though, Ellroy's style in GQ
articles has gotten tiring. I hope the next novel breaks him
out of the funk.
