Why???? The books keep getting better and better as the
series progresses, IMHO the first book is the weakest in the
series barely. It's a fantastic series, and I'm more than a
little annoyed at the publisher for making us wait at least a
whole year for her next book after something like two a year
since it's inception; and then we have to run out and buy it
in hardback having to wait until 2001 until the paperback.
According to Hamilton it's not her idea, rumor has it she's
finished with the book, but the publisher has complete
control over when and if it gets published. Fortunatly I like
the series so much that I'll break my rules and buy her in
hardback. She's only 1 of 3 maybe 4 authors I'd buy in
hardback, the rest I can wait until it comes out in
paperback.
