Someone asked who authored the 1958 novel "I, Mobster." Its
publisher listed the writer as "Anonymous," presumably in
order to claim the author was really a murderous mobster. The
internet movie database lists the novel's author as being one
Joseph Hilton Smyth. Don't know if that piece of information
solves the mystery or not. I've certainly never heard of
Smyth. Anyone know of him?
