Shipley Adams is a name that sounds vaguely familiar to me,
but I can't pin
down why. My initial reaction is to suggest that he was a
pulp writer who
contributed short stories to the old mystery magazines, but I
can't even
tell you why that reaction pops up.
Gotta love those mysteries surrounding mystery writers. --
