I've been reading all the Archer books over a course of
several years -- I
find that a healthy break between novels lessens the
(sometimes) negative
impact of the basic sameness in plot/premise -- and I began
at the
beginning. However, to see if Archer is to your taste, you
might hunt down a
couple or three of MacDonald's Archer stories. If you like
those, you'll
probably enjoy the novels. -- Duane
