<<The three stories, which are included in the hardcover edition (Simon
& Schuster, 1946) of THE HARD-BOILED OMINIBUS edited by Joseph Thompson
Shaw, but which are omitted from the paperback edition (Pocket Books,
1952), are:

(According to INDEX TO CRIME AND MYSTERY ANTHOLOGIES)

"The Devil Suit" by J.-J. des Ormeaux
"Murder Mixup" by George Harmon Coxe
"Sister Act" by Charles G. Booth>>

That's it, and the fictitious "des Ormeaux" is Forrest Rosaire. I have
THO in my database, but I am having trouble finding the actual book;
there are quite a few things I haven't found since our last move,
including another great Black Mask anthology called The Hardboiled
Detective and a bunch of Goodis novels. Annoying as hell. The moment I
replace these, they'll turn up in some old suitcase.
