I learned in fact about Peace from somebody at rara who had pointed out
(some time back) and excellent review of Tokyo Ground Zero...and that critique pointed out the interweaving of point of view: narration and interior dialogue) as a great innovation and rule breaking¹ stylistic device, supported by a very sharp language...

Critiques are an essential part of the decisions many make for books or
films and some of them remain a strong guide, a strong voice, and many
follow some particular ones assiduously...
It is probably, as you point out, something fading away since nowadays
³everybody can be a critic¹...and participate to the mediacrity.¹..
