    From today's www.medialifemagazine.com:

Meanwhile, NBC has reportedly nixed a "Rockford Files" reboot but did pick up two more dramas, Jimmy Smits' "Garza" and David E. Kelley's "Kindreds," both legal dramas.

That's great to hear they're leaving Rockford alone for the time being. I read recently in TV Guide that it was a sure thing... and even they seemed dubious about it. If the producers could get James Garner to play Rocky they might, just might, pull it off. But don't you wish they'd come up with new ideas? It must be great to be a TV producer. You just retread something that was done forty years ago, or spin off something that's working currently, and sit back on your yacht. Who cares if nobody thinks you're a creative genius as long as you're a millionaire?
