CRIMES & MISDEMEANORS is ostensibly a comedy about very
real and terrible, not to mention common, crime. But there's
nothing funny or off topic about MATCHPOINT. MATCHPOINT is
perhaps the best modern noir film made in the United States.
I can't think of a better one.
