I think maybe I would. DePalma just seems to bring out the worst performance in actors. It's as if they put on their B-movie acts. I avoid DePalma movies when I can. Somethimes I'll start watching a movie on TV not knowing it's DePalma--this happened as recently as a couple of days ago--and saying something to myself like I don't remember Nicolas Cage being quite this bad an actor. Then I realize that all the actors are turning in lousy performances and then there's the bad Hitchcock shots and cuts and then it starts smelling like a DePalma flick and I flip the channel. Don't think I've ever seen one all the way through.
