Juri, thinking about your taste, you might like those more
than the later ones. However, I think you'd like his early
standalones even better, ones like: Mona (AKA Grifter's
Game), After the First Death and, especially, Girl with the
Long Green Heart. Two of the three are readly available over
here from Hard Case Crime (along with his contemporaneous
sleaze novel, Lucky at Cards, which fits right in). Can you
get those over there?
