Mark asked about the Devil Barnett series by Teddy Hayes. I
picked up a sale copy of The X-Press edition of Death By
Popular Demand last year while in England. I guess I would
call it "good" cheesy rather than "bad" as it provided an
interesting look at the record business. I don't remember
much else about it as I left my copy with a friend rather
than haul it back to Canada to collect dust. I did buy the
third book in the series, Wrong As Two Left Feet, in The
X-Press edition while in Minneaplis this summer. It came with
a CD of 14 songs written and performed by Teddy Hayes. No
review as the book is unread and the CD unopened.
