************ The drunken "doctor" talked at length with him about homosexuality, adding at the end that he was not that type of guy. This is before the hunt. There's the sensations that you spoke of when he passed out during the hunt. The fact that he woke up bare-ass naked in the morning with a funny feeling in his intestines seemed like a strong hint, too.

But let me ask this. What in heck is the significance of the kangaroo that gets shot and then incredibly and inexplicably disappears? I know it had some special meaning. He dwelt on it too long for it not to.
