Did you have Too Much to Dream Last Night?
You never mentioned the complete lack of punctuation in Last
Exit. And I have mixed feelings about the recent movie based
on his work, Requiem for a Dream. I also have another Selby
(The Room), but never got around to reading it.
What next in your tragicomic pursuit? I haven't read it, but
I picked up a copy around the same time as Last Exit (they
often seemed to be mentioned together), so how about City of
the Night by John Rechy?
