By me. I don't know this one. I've read a few of his 'P' Division Glasgow police procedurals, and they've all been excellent. He combines Ian Rankin's menace and Ed McBain's brevity. He has also written a few standalones and another procedural series set in Yorkshire, none of which I've read yet.
