        HI Al (and all) --

        I liked Night Extra (Wm P McGivern). I found it in hard back at an estate sale. I first read it after rereading Red Harvest, and it was what inspired me to write my (unsold) first screen play _Nowhere Near Dead_, the dialogue of which was originally written as an homage to McGivern's style.

        Not familiar with the other titles.
