His last two or three books aren't nearly as good as his
earlier ones. I thought CITY OF BONES, his newest one, wasn't
much more than a decent first novel. Go back to Connelly's
actual first, THE BLACK ECHO, which is great, or try THE POET
as Mr. Martin recommended. I think he takes a turn for the
worse starting with ANGELS FLIGHT, but some people think he
keeps getting better. I'll still read 'em.
