well, I have heard that the book bears no resemblance to the
film, but a bad adaptation isn't necessarily a bad movie. I
think Hawks' THAHN is a lovely film for what it is (which is,
quite accurately, a remake of Casablanca. .
.) I will have to give the book a try; never really liked
Hemingway except
"the sun also rises" but this book sounds interesting.
