Anyone who likes noirish stand alones should read Kent Harrington's DIA DE LOS MUERTOS*. Protagonist is a DEA agent in Tijuana, moonlighting as a coyote** in order to support his gambling habit. Naturally, everything turns to shit.

I understand Harrington has a new one out. Anyone read yet?
