Interesting point - I've seen a lot in the media about the
films that influenced Tarantino but, even if he doesn't look
like it, I wouldn't be surprised if the guy has read quite a
bit of HB as well (I suppose the title
"Pulp Fiction" ought to give a hint of this, but I've still
never heard that much discussion of what "fiction" actually
influenced his films. With the exception of explicit book to
film adaptations, there is a tendency to treat the media as
if they're totally independent of each other.
