My own favorite of Lansdale's books is THE MAGIC WAGON, a
wild western. It's one of his early novels and long out of
print. I'd rate it up there with books like Lee Hoffman's THE
VALDEZ HORSES and Charles Portis' TRUE GRIT. Hopefully with
the recent surge in interest in Lansdale it will come back
into print soon.
