Probably someone's already mentioned this, but there's a nice
article about collecting Hammett's books in the November
FIRSTS. It's by William F. Nolan, who says he's working on
the "definitive" Hammett bio, A LIFE BEYOND THURSDAY: THE
DANGEROUS WORLDS OF DASHIELL HAMMETT. It will also
contain
"an all-inclusive 100-page bibliography of material by and
about the author, covering all media."
