Has anyone read THE ICE HARVEST? It got two different rave
reviews in the New York Times. Supposed to be a teriffic
hardboiled novel.
Thanks, James, for setting me straight on Kirby Carr. I
should have checked the Hawk book myself before writing, but
I didn't have it where I was doing the e-mail. I'll have to
check around and see where I came up with the idea that Lynds
had done one of those Carr books.
