By James Ross. Don't remember a lot about it, but most of the
action revolves around a guy who opens a roadhouse and one of
the hired hands. Nasty stuff. Quite brutal and
unsentimental.
Haven't read the book, but wouldn't "Deliverance" qualify as
hillbilly noir?
