I'm a big fan, especially after reading his latest, Shooting
at Midnight. I think he does some new, different things, and
he comes from a youthful angle
(mid 20s) with the writing. Definitely in the hard-boiled
PI-type mold. Interesting work. The first one sort of threw
me, but the ones since are stronger.
