Ellroy, himself, reading his own stuff, really amplifies
one's enjoyment. Really helps to hear him rat-tat-tat out
that hipster shtick. Man-o-man he's really got it down. Saw
him at a bookstore signing in San Francisco a few years ago
it was a ton of fun.
