Based on the raves I read here, I went down to Bookman's and
bought their only Dan J. Marlowe. Operation Flashback,
written in 1970, must be one of the international spy
efforts. It is awful. Like, maybe second runner-up in a Matt
Helm wannabe contest. Thing is, the cover said it won a 1st
prize from the Mystery writers of America. Did I miss
something?
