Hi Terrill!
Agree 100% with your assessment, but Barre's rise has been
stalled by his removal from his publisher's midlist offerings
(along with many other recent authors, most of whom don't fit
into the interest level of this group). Someone said he's
been dropped because the chain stores aren't selling enough
of his books, and so his publishing house is kow-towing to
the buyers. Big problem being widely discussed among writers
these days.
