I thought that Out of Sight was the best adaptation of Elmore
Leonard I have seen so far. This has always been a sticky
point with me. I have loved just about every one of his
novels, but the film versions of Mr. Majestyk, 52 Pickup,
Stick, etc, have left me cold. Get Shorty was good, but Out
of Sight was the book come to life.
