Forster, who would be 60 before a Robicheaux project ever got going, is probably too old now. A shame, because he probably would have made an excellent Robicheaux 10 or 15 years ago. His sad, kind face lept from the screen in Jackie Brown. However I'm sure there must be some other age-appropriate hard-boiled roles for him. Whether or not he'll get them is another story, however. His recent Oscar nomination sure hasn't generated any work that I'm aware of.
