If any of you ever find yourself near Frederick, MD,
definitely check out Wonder Books. They've got a great
paperback selection. Here's what I found on this trip:
I Like It Cool by Michael Lawrence -- "Johnny Amsterdam --
eye with a beard -- squares off with the world of the
beatniks" Does anyone know this detective? They list another
in the series. Drum Beat -- Marianne -- when did Chester Drum
become a secret agent? Code Name Gadget by Peter Rabe See the
Red Blood Run by Niles N. Peebles Phantom Lady by Cornell
Woolrich (1982 pb edition, as you might be able to tell from
the Woolrich not Irish attribution) Thieves Like Us by Edward
Anderson -- love the two movies, how's the book? Keeper by
Greg Rucka, been meaning to pick this up for a while and The
Near-Nudes by Matt Harding -- "A behind-the-scenes novel of
the undergarment industry"
