RARA-AVIS: Cheerful Noir Music ?

upbeat, musically. Like all those mostly male rock songs of complaint,
which are great to dance to. Zevon's music, for instance, is often
described as witty, exuberant, in contrast to the tales being told.

So, in that spirit, I'll mention the funny grim tales of Tom Leherer
contained in such rollicking songs as "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park," "I
Hold Your Hand in Mine," and the Irish jig about the maid who does her
family in in various interesting ways...
