A lot of folks use the term to refer to just about any oversized
paperbound book....the term, however, really has nothing to do with the
physical appearance of the book . It just refers to whether the book is
marketed and distributed through the "trade" outlets (i.e., bookstores) or
through the "mass-market" outlets (drugstores, airport news-stands, etc.).
