All of the Iceberg Slims (except Doom Fox) and Donald Goines
are
available straight from Holloway House. They don't seem to be
set up
for online transactions yet, but info on ordering is available
at
www.hollowayhousebooks.com. Plus they have separate pages
for
www.icebergslim.com and www.donaldgoines.com. Amazon also lists
the
Holloway House books, plus the recent Old School Books printing
of, at
least, Mama Black Widow (can someone with publishing knowledge
explain
how two separate publishers can both have US printing rights
for the
same book?) and the new Doom Fox, from Grove. Has anyone read
Doom Fox
yet? How is it?
Amazon also has a number of Horace McCoys, including Kiss
Tomorrow
Goodbye and They Shot Horses, Don't They?, both pretty
recently
published by Serpent's Tail's imprint Midnight Classics,
which also put
out a couple of non-Black Lizard David Goodis titles.
