RARA-AVIS: The Trouble with Libraries

I've always thought that the trouble with libraries is that you
have to
give the book back, which is the last thing I want to do when I
like a
book. I will only go to a library as a last resort, when I
can't find
the book anywhere else or it's too expensive to consider
buying.
Luckily, George Pelecanos is relatively well-read in his home
town so I
found his books in the Silver Spring library. Put then I had to
give
them back, damn it!
