Point taken. I didn't mean to flare up over the $200 thing, and hope I didn't
upset you too much.

As for TATTOO, it's basically the story of a man who is about to turn forty
and having doubts about his life. Divorced, separated from his kids, career
in a backspin, he has a fling with a married woman, and gets sucked into the
murder investigation when her husband is killed. Things sort of take off from
that point. He meets a fascinating young art thief, discovers that a serial
killer is on the loose, and ends up being the next target. He has the time of
his life.
The novel is set in Los Angeles, the capital of noir. It's not hard-boiled in
the classic sense. Sort of a mystery-thriller; man in the wrong place at the
wrong time.
Publisher's Weekly loved it, and I'm sure you will too.

St. Martin's Press does have a web site, as Chris just pointed out. It's
www.stmartins.com
The publicist says it's verrry new and there's a lot more to come. He
promises to put some mysteries in there soon.

Anthony Britto.
