    Wow, I really touched a shared memory for several of us. Maybe I wasn't wasting my time watching all that after school TV.

    The link that Dave supplies below is pretty nifty as it gives an extensive list of the usage of the routine. A&C did it at least four times (2 movies and 2 TV episodes) plus the Susquehanna Hat Company variation. Although I'm sure I watched it at some point, I need to get a fresh viewing of the Three Stooges short as well as the I Love Lucy episode.
